My special Surprise!

So I got a very special surprise in the mail yesterday. Normally all that I get in the mail is someone telling me that they want me to go into further debt by getting thier credit card, notices telling me how much debt I am in (commonly called bills), an occasion notice about the Firstline Bankruptcy crap (which I do not understand at all) and every so often, a notice telling me that I could be a winner of $1 million dollars. (which I am still waiting for...)

But yesterday- that was special, at first I though it was just another bankruptcy notice, it looked very important with the offical state seal and everything, but low and behold, it was nothing to do with the bankruptcy notices.

I have been given a great oppurtunity, courteousy of the great State of Utah, and the wonderful law abiding citizens of Utah County to serve. Well it is really the lack of the law abiding citizens that allows me this oppurtunity. That right people- I got jury duty!

Yes- and according to the notice that they sent me, this is the best oppurtunity that I will have to do my civic duty! This, yes the wonderful burden I bare, is a blessing (according to the courts)

I have a 1 is 4 chance of being seleceted for a jury (and knowing my luck I will be picked)

So I will keep you all posted on the results of my selected blessing.

I think that if I am the one chosen, maybe I will be that one juror who will go against everyone. Everyone votes guilty because he is soooo clearly guilty because he was standing over the dead body with the gun in his hand even though he states that it was not him. I will be the only one to realize that critically piece of evidence and know that he is not guilty- and I will save his life! Yeah-- that will be me- totally. That is very afternoon special of me.

I have to say I am jealous. I have always secretly wanted to do jury duty. I know, I know, I am weird. Good Luck. Hope if you are assigned you get good cases- trial of the century anyone?

I'm glad you will save some innocent man's life. I guess someone standing over a body with a guy and with blood all over him doesn't mean his guilty...good luck state of utah...
