GO SEE AUSTRALIA.
Trust me - you will love it. I will admit that it does have it's slow moments, but really thinking about it, they could not loose those slower moments because it would mess with the story line.
Why, you ask, do I like this movie? Relatively clean language, and content. It is a very powerful and moving story.
And- HUGH JACKMAN. I always forget how much I love Hugh Jackman, this is a great reminder
Also the boy who plays the character Nullah, is an amazing actor.
The Cinematography is incredible. The director, Baz Luhrmann, is one of my favorites. For those of you who are not as fanatic (read crazy, or obsessed) with movies as I am, Baz Luhrmann directed Moulin Rouge, the Romeo and Juliet with Leonardo Decaprio, and Strictly Ballroom.- Those three movies are know as the "Red curtain" trilogy. If you have seen those movies, you know that they sometime feel like a little bit of a drug trip. That was just his style for those movies- But they are all AWESOME movies.
But- Australia has no drug trip sceens. It is awesome. SO go see it- let me know what you think.
