So you all know I like to make cakes. Cupcakes, birthday cakes, any kind of cake. I even make my own birthday cakes. Last years cake was amazing, it will be really hard to top. So my birthday is coming up, and I have absolutely no idea what kind of cake I want to make. I normally have a brilliant idea about what kind of cake I want, whether it is a specific flavor- like the Banana Split cake I made last year - again DELICIOUS!!!- or whether it is a themed cake. Which I have not done a "themed" cake for myself in a few years... but I have done them for others.
But this year- I got NADA!
I need an idea, so I come to you all. What kind of cake should I make? For the most part I am up to any flavors, theme ideas, characters cakes, what ever. I just need ideas!
My top three ideas right now are (in no particular order)
1- A Chocolate Raspberry Cake - this is always a fav flavor combination, but I just did it for Tara's cake...
2- Another Banana Split cake- again another favorite flavor combinations, and this cake was that delicious that I would consider doing it again.
3- Lemon Blueberry- this is one I have not done, but it sounds good.
So what ideas do you have? What was your favorite birthday cake you ever had/made?
