ABC's of Me- The Fearless F

is for FOOTBALL
I am a HUGE Football fan- particularly BYU Football.
When I was little, I hated football. I would go with my Dad to games and was bored out of my mind. The only reason I wanted to go was for the food. There is just something about concession stand food that I still love...
Usually by Half-time I was ready to go. I did not know what was going one, so I did not care.
This all changed in High school. I learned more about the game, and LOVED it!

There is nothing like Cheering on your team with hundreds of people. Especially games that a super close. I have come adopted my Dad's philosophy that you do not leave the game until the clock is down to zero. Especially with BYU games. You just never know what will happen in those last seconds. This is why I love football- the game can change drastically in a matter of seconds, and you are always on the edge of your seat.
The Best example of this was the BYU vs Utah game in 2006. WOW that is all I have to say. 4 seconds left, Utah was up. BYU had to Score a touchdown, or else they would loose, a field goal would not cut it.
Well, John Beck has the ball and is searching for anyone who is open. A ute is coming up on his left, he runs right to avoid him, then Suddenly he see Johnny Harline, completely open and in the end zone! The Perfect Pass, Johnny catches it, games is over BYU WINS! I literally could not breathe- It was amazing.
I LOVE FOOTBALL. And even better I understand football- unlike most girls. I am even starting to get into Pro-football a little.
So, even though BYU had a sad ending to a good season- I will always stand by my cougars- even if I never go to school at BYU.

Rise, all loyal Cougars and hurl your challenge to the foe.
We will fight, day or night, rain or snow.
Loyal, strong, and true
Wear the white and blue.
While we sing, get set to spring.
Come on, Cougars, it's up to you. Oh!
CHORUS:
Rise and shout, the Cougars are out
along the trail to fame and glory.
Rise and shout, our cheers will ring out
As you unfold your vict'ry story.
On you go to vanquish the foe
for Alma Mater's sons and daughters.
As we join in song in praise of you our faith is strong.
We'll raise our colors high in the blue
And cheer our Cougars of BYU.
