Thunderstorms

So I am sitting here at work- it is 4:30- (yes I blog at work...) And well the second set of storm clouds are rolling in for the day. These ones are very darker and ominous. Which normally I would be all "Heck YES! We are going to get an awesome Thunder storm" See I am all about a great Summer Thunder storm, (more on that in a bit)but this is like the 100th storm this month. I may be exaggerating just a tad... those of you in Utah can testify though it is only by a tad. I am thinking that some higher power is messing with the weather systems of Utah and Seattle- because according to my brother's girl friend- who is from Seattle- her family has reports that they have not had rain for 21 days and that was a week ago. So we are getting Seattle rain, and they are getting our summer weather...
So like I said, I am all about a great summer storm, but when you have had about one a day for the last 20+ days they get kind of old.
I grew up loving summer storms- one of my favorite things about summer. Many a memory I have of sitting out on our front "porch" (we don't really have a porch so much as a cement slab, we did have one in my old house in Provo though) with my dad and watch the thunder clouds come rolling in. We would watch for the lightning and then count the thunder. Occasionally we would play out in the rain- at least until the lighting got too close.
When I was living back east- this is one thing that I missed about Utah. Yeah the east is beautiful, and green- but nothing compares to the Thunderstorms in Utah where you can see for miles and see the intricate details of the lightning strike.
So what am I saying- Too much of a good thing is not good- Love Lightning- just not a storm everyday...
How's your weather?

I do remember storms in Utah, but you should really see one in Texas. They are awesome too.
